Trinity

Trinity – (the base for lots of recipes)
  • Italian trinity – Equal parts chopped carrots, onions and celery(with  the addition of garlic & parsley it’s known by some Italians as balluto or sofritto).
  • Cajun or Creole trinity – replace the carrots with green bell pepper.
Chop the veggies finely and sauté over medium heat until they’re soft and not brown.
